Georgia Lee was one of the most successful and enduring
ladies of the evening in Fairbanks. She is also credited to have
started the first Humane Society in Fairbanks.
This cabin was located in
the community of Nenana, 60 miles from Fairbanks during the heyday
of construction of the Alaska Railroad in the 1920's. The
cabin was moved from Nenana to Fairbanks in 1928 and placed at 829
4th Avenue.
